Education has always been an integral part of the company’s work and as Diversity Dance, established a strong reputation as a deliverer of education projects alongside the development of its choreographic and performance work. Balbir Singh Dance Company continues to develop and deliver this valued element of work which offers opportunities for children and adults alike to engage with the company’s work and enjoy new experiences through dance. The company has been extremely successful in building relationships with specific schools both independently and through the Creative Partnerships (CP) programme.
Balbir Singh Dance Company always works closely with venues to support touring work and assist with audience development by offering opportunities for their audiences and local communities to engage with the company in this way.
A menu of educational opportunities is available to schools, colleges and community groups as well as professional training institutions:

- 2/3 day residencies - Kathak, Contemporary or Synthesis
- Week-long residencies - Kathak, Contemporary or Synthesis
