The music for Trespass is devised and rehearsed throughout the development process by highly trained and accomplished musicians.
As with all of Balbir Singh’s work, the dance is accompanied by live music with one artform feeding from the other. The relationship between the dancers and musicians is integral to the work, it challenges dancers to explore their musicality as well as their physicality and draws on the holistic relationship between Kathak dance and music.
