Abirami Eswar is a post graduate in Biotechnology. She came to the UK in 2005. Kathak plays an important role in her life and she started her training with Padmashri Guru Pratap Pawar, senior most Kathak exponent in the UK from 2006 to the present. Since then her approach to dance and life has changed immensely.

Abirami is an entrepreneur based in London. She is grateful to be training traditional in Kathak (Lucknow gharana) from her Guru. With her Guruji’s blessings, she continues to perform at various places in the UK and India as a solo artist.

Through working with Balbir Singh, she has learnt about different styles of dance and how they are intertwined with each other – giving her further insight, experience and growth in working in this field.

“Kathak is my passion and it helps me find my soul.”
