Jesse Bannister was fully immersed (in more ways than one) in the spirit of Balbir Singh’s swimming pool-based spectacular Synchronised, in this promotional image for the show. The photo, which became emblematic of Balbir Singh’s innovative sport-art crossover work, was taken by Maya De Alemida Araujo.

Jesse is trained in both the classical Indian and Jazz music traditions, and has been a key collaborator with Balbir Singh for many years.
